      Mon, 10 Sep 2001 -- Dorothy Tobkin saw a bright, immature SHARP-TAILED
SANDPIPER at Hunters' Lagoon. It was seen from the viewpoint at the west
end off of the lagoon. Scope recommended to see the far side. From Hwy 1 at
milepost 19.64 turn onto Stoneboro Road. After about 1 mile turn north on
Barnegat Road and drive about 0.5 mi. Park and look for the grassy trail
      that leads to an overlook.
Toby also saw an early SAY'S PHOEBE on Alder Creek Road and a
      PEREGRINE FALCON along Duxbury Road.
I appologize for fumbling this report Monday due to an answering
machine glitch..... and then the weighty events of yesterday..... George
