Calendar Announcement for Sunday, May 15 event

All are welcome to join Peregrine Audubon and George Chaniot on a field
trip through beautiful Potter Valley to the Eel River in search of
colorful birds in dramatic breeding plumage, including birds that have
recently arrived from points south. We hope to see and hear tanagers,
grosbeaks, vireos, tri-colored blackbirds, warblers (including
McGillivray's and Hermit), chats, possibly purple martins, and more.
Leave Ukiah at 8 a.m. sharp from Long's parking lot, or meet at the old
Potter Valley bridge along the Russian River (1/2 mile north of Hwy 20)
at 8:30 a.m. Bring your lunch, water, binoculars, and your favorite
bird ID book. Come prepared to carpool, or with gas already in your
      car.
