Wed, 02 Mar 2005 -- This morning an AMERICAN DIPPER was singing under the
old bridge on Potter Valley Road. This is the time of year when
nestbuilding usually takes place, but I have not located any new nest since
the old one under the bridge was destroyed last April. The waters of March
have washed the rocks clean, so any new droppings are evidence of
continuing activity at this location. There was also a Black Phoebe
building a nest on the right side of the bridge.
