      "Birds of Borneo," Matthew Matthiessen's stunning slide presentation, is returning to Ukiah as a benefit. Come and be dazzled by astonishing colorful birds, many of them endemic to Borneo, as well as flying lizards, pygmy squirrels, pig-tailed macaques, maroon langurs, orangutans, the largest flower on earth, and much more. It's on a FRIDAY this time: Friday, March 4, 7 p.m., at the Grace Hudson Museum, 431 Main St. Ukiah. The suggestion donation of $5-10 will go toward Peregrine Audubon's education and conservation programs. Children under 12 will be admitted free, and no one will be turned away.
