Except for a couple of dozen cold Coots on the pond and various
sparrows in the blackberries, it was a good day for raptors down the
lane. Two American Kestrels, one Red-tailed Hawk, two bright-brick-
red-fronted Red-shouldered Hawks, all pretty active, and a grumpy
looking Golden Eagle hunkered on top of an oak north of the pond.
Not much sign of ground squirrels or other prey.
