Mon, 04 Oct 2004 -- This morning Dorothy Tobkin saw 6, possibly 7, LAPLAND
LONGSPURS at the Mendocino headlands in the vicinity of the Sister City
monument. At Russian Gulch State Park she found a mixed flock along the
road to the picnic area which included a CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER and a
BLACK-THROATED GRAY WARBLER (unusual on the coast) along with some
      Townsend's Warblers, Ruby-crowned Kinglets, Hutton's Vireo, and
      Chestnut-backed Chickadees.
