      Hi Irene,

      I've done billing for several different types of providers and I have to say that other than a few things that are specialty specific, it's all mostly the same. I would start by looking up the CPT codes you would want to use and bill then go to my contracts with the insurance companies and find out how much they would pay based on the CPTRVU. Provider reps can be very helpful in these circumstances as well. You can write up a letter stating that your practice is looking into starting ENT list the procedure codes and ask them what you'd be paid based on your contract. We started DME in our office and did that (wrote letters) with great success. Google is always our friend in situations like this as well.

      Anyone out there have an ENTsuperbill they care to share? We are looking at adding ENT to our practice and I want to get a feel for the reimbursement rates on their procedures.. .but to be honest...I dont know the first thing about an ENT practice. So I need help!!!
