At our facility we pay a private group of cardio docs to read and
interpret our stress tests. The facility bills the appropriate CPT code
for just the test and the CPT code for the interpretation is billed out
on a physician claim form. There are some CPT codes that do not have a
separate CPT code for interpretation and interpretation is not listed in
the CPT code description. Can we bill for those procedures for the
physicians using the same CPT code but with a modifier -26 added to
      them??
CPT codes that I am referring to:

      93325
      93307
      93320
      93350
      Thanks for your help!

Isn t there a modifier that shows the professional componenet was done (the reading)? It used to be PC and a modifier of TC for technical (taking the test).

Isn't there a modifier that shows the professional componenet was
done (the reading)? It used to be PC and a modifier of TC for
technical (taking the test). but that was work comp and I don't know
if it applies to your tests. Maybe you can look at modifiers? Diana
