Congratulations to Randy King, winner of the May monthly challenge, which was open to all targets.
Randy imaged M5, a globular cluster in Serpens, using a DSI II, Meade 12"
LX200R, and Antares f/6.3 focal reducer, all on a Mitty wedge. Orion ST80 guide scope with SSAG guider and PHD. Subframes were 40 x 8 seconds, processed as LRGB. Data captured in Envisage, registered and stacked in CCD Stack, with final processing in PhotoShop CS5.
Congratulations to both Randy and John Brueggemann for great images.
