      separately announced today that an astronomical date for the Global Flood is now
      available.

      This date for the Global Flood is the date that the five most clock-like of all
      comets, that astronomers have observed three or more times, were all at

        I don't get this. They say they follow the Bible to the letter, but they are off 1000 years in Biblical chronology. Are they using another Bible than the one I use?

          Terry Hurlbut explains it on his blog.  Basically, they do not accept all of Ussher's timeline.  I asked him, on one of his blogs, if they plan to present their finding in a scientific forum for analysis and review of the scientific community.
           
          Of course, it was a rhetorical question.... we already know the answer.
