      Hello, here is this years stand on the Katama Bay ban on anchoring. The first few lines is an extract from the Vineyard Gasette.

      It should be noted that the outer harbor is unprotected from the Northeast. The Harbormaster claims that in the event of a storm, boats will be allowed to anchor in Katama Bay (assuming one can find anchor space in between all the new for profit moorings.)
