Subject: Good news and an invitation to a cruise!

I thought you would be interested in some good news and this invitation for a cruise.

      From Statehouse News:
RARE SENATE VOTE PUTS BOSTON HARBOR LNG BILL ON ICE, FOR NOW: An attempt to revive legislation authorizing the state to lease Outer Brewster Island was dealt a blow today in the Senate.  The Upper Branch, by voice vote, adopted a motion by Sen. Pamela Resor (D-Acton), chair of the Committee on the Environment, to lay the bill "on the table."  The unusual vote means that the bill can be taken "off the table" only if Resor requests it or by a two thirds vote of the Senate, branch leaders said.  The controversial bill was sent to a study, usually a dead end, earlier this year by another committee.  Opponents of the bill also announced they have the votes line up to defeat it.  But proponents, including those looking for a safer alternative to an existing terminal in Everett that requires shipments in and out of Boston Harbor, are not giving up on the bill.  They hope to eventually get it assigned to the Committee on Telecommunications, Energy and Utilities, which is co-chaired by the bill's chief sponsor, Rep. Brian Dempsey (D-Haverhill).
