He studied at various elementary schools in al-Quds, but when the Jews occupied it (i.e. al-Quds) his father took him and his family to Raamallaah, which was where he finished his intermediate and high school studies.
In 1979 he graduated from the University of Alexandria having obtained a Bachelor degree in Commerce and Accounting. After which he dedicated himself fulltime to Dawah activity, calling to Allah in accordance with the Path of the Salaf.
During his studies in accounting, Allah, the Most High, Willed that he obtained the book The Prophet's Prayer Described by Shaykh Muhammad Nasir-ud-Deen al-Albaanee. He was so much influenced by the book and he thought that the author (Shaykh Muhammad Nasir-ud-Deen al-Albaanee, rahimahu Allah) was from the early generation that was until he met his good brother, Taamir Fiteen as-Saaf who was attending the Civil Engineering School at Alexandria University. His friend Taamir introduced him to the Shaykh in Amman, Jordan.
And from those Shoyookh who influenced him and he met and benefited from were Shaykh Abdul Azeez bin Baaz and Shaykh Muhammad bin Saalih Al-'Uthaymeen, rahimahumal-laah.
During his stay in the Emirates (94-95) he enrolled at Imam Al-Awzaa'ee College for Higher Education, and he succeeded in finishing the necessary courses needed for completing the requirements for the stages of the Master Degree. He was unable to continue due to the difficulties of travel to Beirut then.
Whilst in United Arab Emirates, he was assigned to teach and give sermons at the Mosques in the City of al-'Ayen and its surroundings.
After his return to Palestine he was assigned to do the same (i.e. give sermons) in the Masaajids in al-Quds according to the schedules prepared for him by the Section of Exhortation and Guidance, Ministry of Endowment, the Palestinian Authority, who he was working for in the capacity of an accountant.
