      Weekly Halaqqa Cancellation
      The weekly dinner and halaqah of Masjid Ibrahim is cancelled for this week and everyone is encouraged to join the program in Nuesces Mosque with Sheikh Yasir Qadhi (see details below).

      Abu Ammar Yasir Qadhi

      Yasir Qadhi, a graduate in the College of Hadith from the Madina University , is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Aqeedah. He also has a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston .

      He has authored many books including Riya'a: the Hidden Shirk, Du'aa: The Weapon of the Believer, The Introductions of the Sciences of the Quran, Four Principles of Shirk, 15 Ways to Increase Wealth etc.

      Directions to Nueces Masjid

      From IH 35 S:
      • As downtown approaches, IH 35 splits into lower and upper decks. Please remain on the lower deck.
      • Exit Martin Luther King (MLK) Blvd.
      • Turn right on Martin Luther King Blvd.
      • Right after you pass Guadalupe St. , you will see a McDonald's on your right.
      • Make a right onto the street right after McDonald's. The street is called San Antonio and is one way.
      • Make a left on 21st St. It is the first stop sign.
      • Make a left on Nueces St . It is the first stop sign.
      • After you pass a white apartment complex, you will see the Islamic Center on your right.
      From IH 35 N:
      • Before IH 35 splits into lower and upper decks, exit on Martin Luther King Blvd. exit.
      • Pass the stop light right after the exit and go straight.
      • Turn left onto Martin Luther King Blvd.
      • Right after you pass Guadalupe St. , you will see a McDonald's on your right.

      Enjoy a day with your family in a beautiful ranch house in a scenic setting and full of fun & entertainment.

      Games, Sports, hiking, biking trail and other fun activities.  Private section for sisters for fun and games.


      Swimming Restrictions
      The swimming area is reserved only for brothers and children accompanied by their fathers. Daughters should be less than 6 years to enter the swimming area. Swim at your own risk. All participants must sign a disclaimer releasing the Park and Masjid Ibrahim from any damages or consequential damages. Dress code will be strictly enforced. For brothers - swimming shorts must cover navel and knees. A life guard will be on duty to provide safe environment. Please bring your own swimming jackets, donuts etc.

      Bring your own sack lunch and little more to share.


      Registration Fees
      $8/Adult (brothers only; no charge for sisters); $4/Child    


      Directions
      • From MoPac in Austin, head west on FM 2244.
      • Continue west on FM 2244 through the intersection with Capital of Texas Highway.
      • Approximately 3.5 miles after that intersection turn right on Cuernavaca Drive and then turn left on Commons Ford Road.
      • Continue down this road for and look for the entrance to the park on the left. 
      • You will see sign with the name Common Fords Ranch and the park hours. 
      • Enter the park and keep on driving for 2-3 minutes till you the road takes a turn on the left. 
      • The Ranch house will be on your right hand side (the one with swimming pool).
      Generation One Weekend School in North Austin
      Please note: The Weekend school at Masjid Ibrahim is cancelled for this week due to the swimming camp. However, the Weekend school in the North will commence this Saturday, September 6th.
