Assalaamu 'alaikum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuhu:

Dear sisters and brothers in deen:

Depending on moon-sighting, 'Eid-ul-Fitr can be either this Thursday or Friday, inshaAllaah. This pre-'Eid gathering will give sisters an opportunity to enjoy and get started with the 'Eid celebrations, inshaAllaah.

      Wednesday, December 4th, 2002
NOTE:  Isha Salaat will be delayed till 9:00pm for just this day.  This will also give us an opportunity to wait on any moon-sighting reports from other places.

      Venue

      Masjid Ibrahim

No children allowed on Sisters' side; exception for girls 4 years or older.

      Activities

      • Dress-up (wear your best outfit, but please take precaution by wearing Hijab outside)
      • Trivia competition
      • Variety of fun games
      • Gifts
      • Mehendi (Henna) Decoration
      • Best snack and/or Desert competition (bring your favorite dish to be judged)

      Arrangement for the Children

To ensure that the sisters enjoy the evening fully, children accompanied by fathers (ONLY) will leave after Iftar-dinner for Chuck-e-Cheese (2 min drive from Masjid) for some kids' entertainment. Tokens are fathers' responsibility.

We hope Allaah (Ta'aalaa) blesses us in this month and make us be steadfast upon the Deen.
