Group Description

Married Priests USA.
Welcome to YOUR e-group. This is a place of easy communication about the married priests and what is new in our cause to restore the married priesthood to its rightful place in the church as it was in the beginning. Our mission is to have married men ordained and to have married priests restored to full ministry in the Latin Church as it was in the time of Christ and the early church. St. Peter was a married priest as were many of the apostles and early popes, bishops and priests.

Our Prelature in every aspect is proving to the Roman Catholic Church that the future church is rooted in the church of Yesterday. With 39 married Popes, and with the Apostolicity of St. Peter the first married Pope, we are reviving what we were, and were supposed to remain. Our Prelature does not offend any constitution of the Catholic Church. We are the Church of Today and of the future, but rooted in the true tradition of the Catholic Church from the past.

We are embarking on a theology, which upholds total humanity -- man and woman. We see the two coming from the hands of God, each with his/her talents to be poured together, channeled for a balanced living. Without inhibition, each person will flourish in a free church where appreciation and gratitude to one another’s gifts will be acknowledged and put to the right use.

Please join us, the bishops and priests of the Prelature.
