Use of anti-fungals in size?
- Have any experienced marblers attempted to prolong the useful life of size by retarding fungal growth through use of such anti-fungal agents as tincture of iodine, copper sulfate, aqueous extracts of crushed garlic, or even dilute solutions of arsenical compounds? Obviously, appropriate care in handling of the toxic materials would need to be exercised.
I'd hate to re-invent he wheel before proceeding in this direction.
Many thanks for any reports of your experiences along these lines, positive or negative.
