Re: [Marbling] Re: Martha Stewart on Today Show
- The sad truth of it is she has seen it done properly and doesn't seem to give a darn. I know because her film crew came and filmed me working for a show. It never aired as I said because I think all her legal problems began right after and honestly I should say maybe she never really did see it. Still you'd think she'd do a quick study of the art.
What is a clever ploy on her part, and she is a shrewd business woman of course, though I do believe she really loves arts, crafts and cooking deeply, but she doesn't give proportions of methyl cel or what kind of paint other than "acrylic" and how much to water them down etc. so you have to buy the book! I know it was a short slot timewise but it was a real teaser. Still it may bring more people to marbling, and hats off to her for that. Maybe a few will take it up in depth and get as obsessed as we are. Now is that a good or bad thing! Sometimes I wonder about all the time spent in failed experiments!

That segment "Awash with color" is also on youtube:
Did you see how she just drop the paper onto the tray instead of laying it down? I think she should have got a professional to demonstrate.
