Summer Institute Registration Reminder
Don't Forget to Register for the 2007 Summer Institute at the Wells
Book Arts Center
The 2007 Summer Institute at the Wells Book Arts Center offers an
extraordinary opportunity to learn from some of the nation's most
important figures in the book arts. Intensive, hands-on courses in
letterpress printing, bookbinding and lettering arts are taught by
remarkable instructors in Wells' historic setting of lyric beauty.
There will be three sessions for the summer of 2007.

in the Artist's Book
Don Glaister's Putting the Art Back in the Craft
Suzanne Moore's Equilibrium: Creating Text & Image Balance in the
Session III: July 2228
Barbara Tetenbaum's Limited Edition Books: Experimental Image-making
on the Vandercook
Laura Wait's Artist's Books: More Than Paper, Wood and Leather
Leslie Cabarga's Creating Logos, Type and Lettering form Scratch
Students may select one course of the three offered in a session and
all levels of experience, from beginners to experts, are welcome.
Courses are limited to 812 participants who will enjoy well-equipped
& air-conditioned studios on the Wells College campus, air-conditioned
dorm rooms, and ample time to exchange ideas and enjoy camaraderie
with fellow book artists.
