Laura - if you really and truely are ready to go ahead with a craft that is back breaking
even for persons without crutches, here are more names for you:
In England, you seem to have left out Victoria Hall, you should make that up.
In Germany, it is Ilona Hesse in Leipzig.
These two, I know in person and have handled their sheets.
In the Netherlands, try your luck with Eva van Breughel, Karli Frigge and - maybe - Geert
van Daal (both not specialists for the historical patterns, but VERY good; and you will need
perseverance for both of them!) for aqaeous techniques and Janrein van Oostrum for oil.
Eva has retired, Karli is currently doing so, Geert has his main concern in his work as a
bookbinder and world-class gilder, but there is no harm in trying. Janrein is certainly not
top-notch, but he knows his stuff, he is dedicated and a good and enthusiastic teacher.
There are several more in France, Belgium and Switzerland. But not having handled their
sheets, I will not go about and send you to them.
Hope this helps
