Group Description

The MandE NEWS mailing list is part of the MandE NEWS website at www.mande.co.uk .

Visitors to the website are invited to use the mailing list to exchange information with each other about monitoring and evaluation issues, especially as they relate to international development aid. When you join you can also search the archives (more than 4600 previous posts and hundreds of files). You can also browse and submit photos.

The Editor of MandE NEWS will also use the mailing list to inform list members about significant updates to the MandE NEWS website. The MandE NEWS mailing list is managed by the Editor, Rick Davies .

If you apply to join via this webpage you will be sent a reply email that will acknowledge your request and ask you (a) the nature of your interests, (b) what organisation you work for (or are associated with), (c) your country of residence

Please note: there are also two other more specialised mailing lists managed by MandE NEWS:

MostSignificant Changes : 1100+ members. Moderated by Tracey Delaney. The focus is on the use of the MSC approach to monitoring, which is qualitative and participatory and does not require the use of predefined indicators of expected change

Network Evaluation : 280+ members. New as of July 2004, moderated by Rick Davies. PLEASE NOTE: This email list has a SPECIFIC focus: (a) The evaluation of networks and (b) the use of network analysis in development projects. NOT M&E in general

For other M&E related email lists, see the listing at http://mande.co.uk/2008/lists/email-lists/a-list-of-me-email-lists/
