Interview with John Carlos Frey on "Over the Line" about Border Patrol murders of innocent Mexicans on their own soil.

Video and rush transcript online at:

These 10 murders are in addition to 8 other Border Patrol murders of Latino boys and men, including two U.S. citizens, near the border.  All 18 victims were unarmed and not threatening the Border Patrol agents in any way. We attended a memorial vigil for José Antonio Elena Rodriguez, age 16, in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico, on April 10 and saw where he was gunned down on the sidewalk six months earlier, shot in the back 8 times by Border Patrol agents. Eyewitnesses say he was unarmed, not throwing rocks or saying anything to the Border Patrol agents shooting through the border fence 30 feet above him. The Border Patrol refuses to release the videotape of the killing taken from one of their surveillance towers or to release the names of the agents who shot him.
