Well, there's the movie release and then there is the movie premier. The release is the date it comes out in theaters. The premier is a special event before the release that the people involved in making the movie attend (actors/director/producers/etc.) along with movie critics and press and VIPs. It's basically one big press event. I have no idea how just normal fans get into this event. The only reason I'm going is because I'm part of an HP podcast, and we were given press passes to attend.

      Hiya,

According to mugglenet.com (webpage: http://www.mugglenet.com/movies/movie6/releasedates.shtml) the release date for London is 15th July. I somehow doubt they'll change it again, because the severe wrath from the change this time was kind of overwhelming.

So go ahead and book your flights. Make sure to get plenty of time off work though!!

      Hi,

Has the date of the London premiere been officially confirmed yet?

I know there have been rumours flying around about the premieres being in Japan on the 6th July, London on the 7th July and NY on the 8th July, but have those dates been officially confirmed by WB?

I've been holding back on looking out flight prices to London because I wouldn't want to book a non-refundable flight (in case I could somehow scrape together the money for it) and to have the premiere date changed afterwards.
