Strace or ltrace might give some further info as to what is
      happening. Walt, try:

      strace mt63rx

      and/or

      ltrace mt63rx

If either gives too much output you can also save it to a file with the -o
      option: "strace -o filename mt63rx"

          -rwxr-xr-x 1 k9ps k9ps 187223 Feb 4 13:02 mt63rx
          -rwxr-xr-x 1 k9ps k9ps 187979 Feb 4 13:02 mt63trx
          -rwxr-xr-x 1 k9ps k9ps 183097 Feb 4 13:02 mt63tx

And 'file' should return something like
mt63tx: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1, dynamically
linked (uses shared libs), not stripped

I'm using RH 6.1 updated to 6.2. Is there additional updating/patches
              needed of re-compiling the kernel?
