For those who want to check, the daily download is now in.
Files timed at approx. 09.26 and 09.27 clock.
If nothing has appeared then a short note to OPS would be worthwhile.

      Regards
      Douglas.

I assume it gets saved in the normal MSG folder structure.

The trouble is that if new data is due to start and there is no report that
it has been delayed, you do tend to double check your settings, particularly
when it is something that requires a specific set-up like the Product
        Navigator.

EPS-14 ATOVS L2 NOAA19 is also awaited --- we will just have to monitor.

        Regards
        Ian.

My mail a short time ago crossed with yours. This is partly to do with
the fact that the group mails I send are taking much longer than they used
since I changed my ISP. On average it is about 15 minutes --- most
          annoying.

          Ian.

No it remains in your www/eumetsat received folder. Not dissimilar to what
happened when we had the Tellique update and the data was sent to a
            particular 'received' structure.

Further to previous correspondence I can now confirm that the new Product Navigator data has been received. It would appear that it has come in a little later

little later to me as I had checked the Tellique folder before I sent my

Suddenly I have a folder under my received files called AIDA-1.
It contains files like MODISA-FIRE.2009182.2359.txt and MODIST-FIRE.2009182.2045.txt and it started from June 30 11:53 local time.

I have not looked into the announcements of new products lately but are these part of it ?

Can we map / visualize these files ?

                  Arne,

As you have gathered from the name, this is fire pixel data from MODIS.
Similar data is also being sent in HDF4 format, and I have software for
reading that data. I hope to extend that software to read and display
this new data, although I do wonder whether one of my existing programs
might read the data as it looks awfully familiar!

                  Cheers,
                  David
