Group Description

Militia Resource Development Center for Training, Doctrine, & Operations. The MRDC-TDO was founded to provide a resource for militia personnel and units to acquire reliable and professional information concerning training and operational doctrines in tactical field craft from experienced prior military personnel.

The MRDC-TDO is a primarily a vehicle for distributing information from original military training publications, online resources, formal and informal discussions, and from organized training courses soon to be offered through this group. These training courses and formal discussions ( labs ) will be based on standards similar or identical to military training publications such as The Soldier's Manual of Common Tasks ( Skill Levels 1-4 ), the National Militia Standards, or other relevant materials where applicable.

This group may also be used as a communications resource for coordination, recruitment, and posting of such relevant subject matter content. While informal discussions on doctrines, tactics, equipment, and acceptably styled activity reports are also encouraged, this group is not a chathouse. Nor is it a newsgroup. It is for serious discussions of training and execution through the application of knowledge.

There are not enough 'militia' related forums conducting and encouraging serious preparations to acceptable and effective standards.

However, that is what we will attempt to do here.
