If you email me directly I can send units to discuss the animals with their owners, we can also get animal control to ensure no abuse is occurring. Commander

If you SEE something, SAY something.

Call the Metropolitan Police Department at (202) 727-9099 or email at SAR@... to report suspicious activity or behavior that has already occurred.

Call 911 to report in-progress threats or emergencies.

      Hello..

I wondered if you might be able to help. What are the noise ordinances for the District. Couple of issues: 1. Constantly barking dog next door left outdoors. Animal Control will not come out unless the dog is abused.. this one is not physically abused but is left out and barks constantly.
      2. Untrained dog next door on the other side of me who's owner seems to be unable to control constant barking when the neighbor is not home or late nights or early mornings.

I would appreciate it if you have any thoughts on what I can do and what the DC codes are, who I can call. Thanks so very much - Nalini
