US District Court denies challenge to DCMPD new firearms restrictions
The United State District Court for the District of Columbia has ruled [http://bit.ly/d6iRzr] the DC MPD regulations issued after the landmark US Supreme Court ruling on the District’s handgun laws are permissible. The court denied the challenge to three provisions of the new laws: (1) the firearms registration procedures; (2) the prohibition on assault weapons; and (3) the prohibition on large capacity ammunition feeding devices.
