      At the Washington Center For Aging Services, 2601 18th St. NE

      Come join the Fifth District Citizens Advisory Council (5D CAC) at
      its annual Winter Holiday Party! Last year's event was a success.
      We've all worked hard work this year for public safety, let's have
      some fun, too!

      Commander Jennifer Greene along with Officers and Officials of the
      MPD Fifth District are hosting a benefit Christmas Party on December
      8 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Tickets are $25 or $15 with a donation of a
      toy. All proceeds will go to the Children's Party on December 23rd
      (see below). Dream is donating the facility and a buffet. Please make
      a donation, come out and party for the children!
      Where: Dream Nightclub 1350 Okie St, NE, Washington, DC
      When: Wednesday, December 8, 2004 From 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
      Please make checks out to the Fifth District Citizens Advisory
      Council (5D CAC)

      MPD Fifth District Children's Christmas Party will be held on
      December 23rd from 10 a.m. to noon. There will lunch, Santa and
      pictures. If you know a needy child who is a resident of the Fifth
      District, please contact Sgt. Sonja Flipping. Supply of toys is
      limited, so donations will be welcome. Toys should not be gift-
      wrapped and should be in their original factory packaging. Volunteers
      will be needed to assist in the event, especially during the 10 a.m.
      to 12:00 p.m. setup.
      Where: Isle of Patmos Church (Multipurpose Room) 12th and Rhode
      Island Avenue, NE, Washington, DC
      When: Thursday, December 23, 2004 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
