Just an update to my previous post from the Brookland listserv.

Continuing thanks to Sgt. Steinhilber for always keeping us updated on
the Brookland and BrooklandGLBT listservs, and to Lt. Bernat and his
entire 502 team. Congrats also to MTP for this collar.

Metro Stations, with their high concentrations of preoccupied potential
victims, and their easy get-away options for perps, are *always* great
      targets-of -opportunity for criminal perpetrators

Crimefighting around the Metro Stations, especially, calls for law
enforcement teamwork-- but just as importantly, for watchful, proactive
rider and neighborhood participation. Let's keep the pressure on Metro
      area criminal perps throughout 5D!

PSA 502 Manager Lieutenant Edward Bernat has this afternoon forwarded
communication from DC Metro Transit Police announcing the arrest of four
strong-arm robbery suspects - two at Brookland Metro Station - during
recent uncover operations MTP. The male suspects were targeting riders
/ commuters with iPods. Police officers posed as riders and were
      watched by an apprehension team.

These arrests are unfortunately not related to the recent postings
involving Mr. Coen. Brookland residents should continue to use good
judgment when in and around any Metro Station.
