Unfortunately, yesterday at approximately noon, a subject driving a blue Ford Explorer traveling eastbound on Michigan Ave stopped at the traffic light at North capitol Street.  While at the light the suspect fired a single round into a vehicle the complainant was traveling in. The bullet struck the complainant in the shoulder. The complainant was transported to the hospital in stable condition.  The investigation has identified a suspect in the case and there should be an arrest made within 24 hours!!
