Arrest Made in Assault With a Dangerous Weapon -Gun: 1300 block of Bryant Street, Northeast

      On August 15, 2014 at approximately 8:41am, 5th District officers responded to the 1300 block of Bryant Street, Northeast for the report of a shooting.  When officers arrived in the block, they found the complainant suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen.  The officers quickly summoned medical services for the complainant and began their preliminary investigation. 

       

      Based off information gathered on the scene, 5th District officers were able to stop an individual suspected of committing the assault.  5th District Detectives arrived and after further investigation, the individual who was stopped was arrested.  The complainant is currently in stable condition.

       

      The officers and detectives in this case did an outstanding job of summoning medical assistance, conducting a thorough investigation, and quickly apprehending a violent offender.
