      Registration closes today, June 10 – take advantage of five free hours of personal financial education

       

      The D.C. Department of Insurance, Securities and Banking (DISB) is offering free access to the Financial Fitness Challenge, a nationally recognized program that provides education on topics such as saving, investing, retirement planning and other personal finance topics. The program is designed for all ages, education levels or income.  Participants demonstrate significant improvement in their financial knowledge, attitudes and behaviors after completing the program.


      To get started, visit
      www.ffcprogram.com (works best in Google Chrome) and go to the "Try the Checkup now!" arrow.

      Proceed to the "Let's Get Started! Please Choose Your Employer" tab and select the "DC DISB"

      Proceed to the "Your Email" tab and enter your email address

      Take the Financial Fitness Checkup and start the Financial Fitness Challenge!

      Participants can choose from 3 different 5-hour learning plans

      Flexible course delivery anytime from any browser on computer, tablet or smartphone

      Includes pre- and post-tests and surveys to measure changes in knowledge and behaviors

       

      Financial Fitness Challenge Curriculum  

      5 one-hour courses delivered over 5 weeks with topics such as:
