        Good afternoon all.

I was wondering if we could get an update on the shooting that happened Sunday night around 900pm that closed H St NE from 19th to 23rd. There have been many rumors flying about the neighborhood and I'd rather get what details we can from a legitimate source.

        Thanks!

Thank you Commander Porter for the update. We look forward to your team closing this matter and urge any member of the community with any relevant information to come forward. We must work harder to create an environment that does not allow violent acts to continue. Working with law enforcement has greatly benefited our community and we must increase our capacity. I ask all of our neighbors on this listserv to lend your eyes and ears to assist our police partners and report suspicious activity by calling 911 immediately. We are stronger than the criminals.
