      Persons of Interest Sought in an Armed Robbery:

      200 Block of 15th Street, NE

       

      (Washington, DC)- The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying and locating three persons of interest in connection to an armed robbery of an establishment that occurred in the 200 block of 15th Street, NE, on Friday, November 1, 2013 at approximately 7:35 pm. The subjects were captured by surveillance video as they entered and exited the store. They are described as follows:

      Suspect 1: Black male in his 20s, 5'6"-5'8" in height, with medium complexion. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with white and red horizontal stripes across the sleeves and chest area, black jeans, and black and white tennis shoes. He was armed with a black revolver.

      Suspect 2: Black male in his 20s, 5'6" in height, with slim build. He was wearing a gray or purple hooded sweatshirt and baseball hat. He was armed with a knife.

      Suspect 3: Black male, 20-30 years of age, 6'0" in height, heavy set build. He was wearing a purple jacket with a light purple or gray stripe running down the sleeves, a purple knit hat, and a fake black beard. He was armed with a silver handgun.

      Anyone with information that can assist in the identification of these subjects is asked to call the police at (202) 727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a robbery, committed in the District of Columbia.
