      Suspect Sought in First Degree Sexual Assault:

      Area of the 600 Block of New York Avenue, NW

       

      (Washington, DC)- The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in connection with a First Degree Sexual Assault which occurred in the area of the 600 block of New York Avenue, NW.

       

      On Sunday, October 27, 2013, at approximately 5:00 am, an adult female was offered a ride by an unknown male to which she accepted.  The suspect drove a short distance where he forced the victim out of his car and sexually assaulted her.

       

      The suspect is described as a black male, 5'7" in height, medium build, light complexion, 25-30 years of age, short hair, and clean shaven.  The suspect was operating an unknown make and model Tan SUV.
