      Arrest Made in Homicide: 5200 Block of Clay Street, NE

       

      (Washington, DC)Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch have announced an arrest has been made in the homicide which occurred in the 5200 block of Clay Street, NE.

       

      On Saturday, June 2, 2007, at approximately 8:46 pm, units from the Sixth District responded to the rear of the 5200 block of Clay Street, NE for the report of an unconscious person.  Upon arrival, they located an adult male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.  DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services personnel did not find any signs consistent with life.  The decedent was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

       

       

      The decedent is identified as 19-year-old Terrence Fowler of Upper Marlboro, Maryland.

       

      On Wednesday, August 14, 2013, 24 year-old Joshua Holifield of Suitland, Maryland, was arrested pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant and charged with First Degree Murder while Armed in the shooting death of Terrence Fowler.
