      Persons of Interest Sought in a Theft Two and Assault with a Dangerous Weapon: 1500 Block of U Street, SE

       

      (Washington, DC)- The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating multiple persons of interest in connection with a Theft Two and a person of interest is being sought in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon which occurred on Saturday, July 20, 2013, in a convenience store located in the 1500 block of U Street, SE.

       

      Multiple subjects entered the convenience store and began to remove items from the store with paying for the items. Shortly after the subjects left the store, an individual outside of the store assaulted the store owner with a piece of lumber.


      The subject who assaulted the store owner is described as a black male, approximately 5'8" tall, approximately 180 pounds, with medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt with a Nike emblem, short sleeve jean jacket/vest, a white sweatband on his head, knee length jean shorts, and tennis shoes.
