      Persons of Interest Sought in Assault with a Dangerous Weapon:

      2800 Block of Stanton Road, SE

       

      (Washington, DC)- The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating two persons of interest in connection with an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon which occurred in the 2800 block of Stanton Road, SE, on Saturday, July 13, 2013, at approximately 9:46 pm. The subjects are described as follows:

       

      Suspect One: Black male, 6’4” in height, 170 pounds, with black dreadlocks pinned towards the back of his head. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black shirt with a colorful design on the back.  He was armed with a handgun.

       

      Suspect Two: Black male, 5’6” in height, 160-170 pounds with long black hair.  He was last seen wearing a black hat, blue jeans and a white t-shirt.

       

      The persons of interest are shown in this video as they entered a Metrobus in that location and proceeded to fire a weapon at individuals on the sidewalk:  http://youtu.be/XpEE30Ilr4g

       

      Two adult males and two juvenile males were struck.  All of the victims sustained non-life threatening injuries.

       

      Anyone with information that can assist in the identification of these subjects is asked to call the police at (202) 727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a crime committed in the District of Columbia.
