Suspect Arrested in String of Robberies of Establishments in Washington D.C.
(Washington, DC) – The Metropolitan Police Department has announced the arrest of a suspect in a string of armed robberies of 7-11 stores within Washington, DC.
On Thursday, July 11, 2013, 21-year-old Phillip Liverpool of Southeast, Washington DC was arrested for three armed robberies:
· January 25, 2013-1900 block of Rhode Island Ave, NE Washington DC
· January 31, 2013-7400 block of Georgia Ave NE, Washington DC
· June 12, 2013-2500 block of Benning Rd NE, Washington DC
Detectives assigned to a multi-jurisdictional taskforce consisting of the Metropolitan Police Department, Montgomery County Police Department, Prince George’s County Police Department, and Bladensburg City Police Department is continuing to investigate additional armed robberies.
