      Person of Interest Sought in a Robbery:

      Intersection of Georgia Avenue and Gresham Street, NW

       

      (Washington, DC)- The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a person of interest in connection with a robbery which occurred on Thursday, June 27, 2013, at approximately 11:12 pm, at the intersection of Georgia Avenue and Gresham Street, NW.

      The person of interest is described as being a black male, 19-22 years of age, 6’2” in height, with a slim build, dark complexion and short cropped hair.  He was last seen wearing black boots, camouflage green shorts, a black North Face top and a back pack.

       

      Anyone with information that can assist in the identification of this subject is asked to call the police at (202) 727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a robbery, committed in the District of Columbia.
