      Persons of Interest in Armed Robbery:

      2500 Block of Benning Road, NE

       

      (Washington, DC)- The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating two persons of interest in connection with an armed robbery of an establishment which occurred on Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at approximately 3:05 am, in the 2500 block of Benning Road, NE.

       

      Two subjects entered the establishment, displayed a handgun, and stole cash belonging to the establishment. The subjects were captured by the store's surveillance camera and are described as follows:

       

      The first subject is described as a black male, 6’0"-6’1” tall, thin build, with brown eyes.  He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt/hoodie, dark pants, and a black face mask.


      The second subject is described as a black
      male, 6'0”-6'4" tall, 220-230 pounds, with brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt/hoodie, cargo-style pants, and a black face mask.

      Anyone with information that can assist in the identification of this subject is asked to call the police at (202) 727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent offense, including armed robbery, committed in the District of Columbia.
