      Additional Arrest Made and Suspect Sought in the Assault with Intent to Kill in the 1200 Block North Capitol Street, NW

       

       

      (Washington, DC)- The Metropolitan Police Department has announced an additional arrest has been made and a suspect is being sought in connection with the Assault with Intent to Kill offense in which 13 people were injured as a result of the gunfire in the 1200 block of North Capitol Street, NW.

       

      On Monday, March 11, 2013, at approximately 2:10 am, two vehicles drove by a building in the 1200 block of North Capitol Street, NW.  Occupants of both vehicles fired shots into a group of individuals on the sidewalk.

       

      On Friday, March 15, 2013, a 19-year-old adult male of Southeast DC, was arrested by members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant charging him with Assault with Intent to Kill.

       

      On Thursday, May 23, 2013, 19-year-old Andrew Davon Allen of Southeast DC, was arrested by detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant charging him with Assault with Intent to Kill and Conspiracy to Commit a Crime of Violence.

       

      Another male suspect has been incarcerated in a local jurisdiction on unrelated charges. He faces charges of Assault with the Intent to Kill and Conspiracy to Commit a Crime of Violence in connection with the North Capitol Street offense.

       

      The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating an additional suspect in connection with the North Capitol Street shootings. The suspect, identified as 21-year-old Keith Deangelo Bobb, of Northeast, Washington, DC, is wanted for Assault with Intent to Kill and Conspiracy to Commit a Crime of Violence in connection with this offense.

       

      The suspect Keith Deangelo Bobb is described as being a 21-year-old black male with a light to medium complexion, and long dreadlocks. He is approximately 5-feet-10- inches tall and weighs approximately 145 pounds. A picture of Keith Deangelo Bobb is attached and shown below:

       


       

      Anyone with information that can assist in locating this suspect is asked to call the police at (202) 727-9099. The Metropolitan Police Department is offering a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for this Assault.
