      Persons of Interest Sought in Armed Robbery:

       500 Block of Howard Place, NW

       

      (Washington, DC)- The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating two persons of interest in connection with an Armed Robbery which occurred in the 500 block of Howard Place, NW.

       

      On Friday, April 26, 2013 at approximately 1:45 am, two subjects were captured by surveillance cameras as they ran across the street shortly after the incident. The subjects are described as follows:

       

      Suspect One: Black male, 20-21 years old, 5'8" in height, 145 pounds, with medium complexion, short-cropped hair and stud earrings in both ears. He was armed with a black handgun.

       

      Suspect Two: Black male, 20-21 years old, 5'6" in height, 170 pounds, with dark complexion and small twists in his hair. He has a scar or tattoo under his right eye. He was wearing white ear buds in his ears.

      Anyone with information that can assist in the identification of these subjects is asked to call the police at (202) 727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any robbery committed in the District of Columbia.
