      Suspect Arrested: Kidnapping and Assault with Intent to Commit Sex Abuse in the 2600 Block of O Street, NW

       

      (Washington, DC)- The Metropolitan Police Department has announced today a suspect has been arrested in connection with a kidnapping and attempted sex assault.

       

      On Monday, April 8, 2013, at approximately 4:04 am, an adult female was walking in the 2600 block of O Street, NW when she was approached from behind by an adult male who forced her to an area nearby and attempted to sexually assault her.

       

      On Monday, April 8, 2013, Second District officers who were on patrol spotted and arrested 23 year-old Matthew Gabramadhin of Springfield, Virginia, charging him with Kidnapping and Assault with Intent to Commit First Degree Sex Abuse.
