Suspect Sought in Kidnapping and Sexual Assault:
1800 Block of 23rd Street, SE
(Washington, DC) The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect wanted in connection with a Kidnapping and First Degree Sexual Assault while Armed which occurred in the 1800 Block of 23rd Street, SE.
On Sunday, March 3, 2013, between 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm, a female, who was walking in the 2700 block of Naylor Road, SE, was approached by an unknown male who produced a handgun and forced her to get into his vehicle. The victim was then driven to the area of the 1800 block of 23rd Street, SE, where she was sexually assaulted.
The suspect fled in a silver four door vehicle. The suspect is described as a black male with a medium complexion, 30 to 35 years old, short hair, full beard, and two tattoos; one on his right forearm bearing a picture of a cross and the words “Rest In Peace”; and one across his chest. He was last seen wearing a Kango type hat, two hoop earrings in his right ear, a black pea coat, blue jeans, and tan boots. He was also armed with a black handgun.
