Please note that the single lane conditions WILL NOT APPLY according to the release from DDOT as seen below.  I do not believe anything was sent out about the scheduled roadwork this weekend so there is no reason to close the loop.  Please use the information for situational awareness purposes only.

      Thank you,

Weekend Single Lane Conditions for New York Avenue Between Florida Avenue and Penn Street

Previously Announced Detour For Saturday, March 2 Will Not Apply

(Washington, D.C.) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) announced motorists, in northeast Washington, will encounter single lane conditions on eastbound and westbound New York Avenue between Penn Street and Florida Avenue between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 2. These lane closures will be required to accommodate work associated with the New York Avenue Bridge Rehabilitation Project.

Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes such as Rhode Island Avenue or H Street, NE to avoid delays through this area.

Temporary signs and traffic control measures will be in place to alert and guide the traveling public through this area.

DDOT encourages all motorists to stay alert and follow all signs as they travel through this corridor.
