Obtaining no valuables, both suspects made good their escape heading westbound in the 1000 block of Otis St., NE. An area canvass was conducted by MPD, to no avail. Additionally, can you please be alittle more specific with your question as it pertains to police tape on 12th St. Where exactly was the police tape on 12th St., what time, what date, etc?
TIP: When out in public, please be mindful of your surroundings to include street lights and people. If the lighting conditions are such that renders a block dark and uninviting, another route should be taken. If you see individual(s) who appears to be looking around as you approach or makes you feel uneasy, walk in the opposite direction. Never let brovado be the direct link between you and a suspect.
