Person of Interest Sought in Two Bank Robberies: 4200 Block of Wisconsin Avenue, NW and the 3400 Block of Connecticut Avenue, NW
(Washington, DC)- The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a person of interest, shown in the video link and pictures below, in connection with two robberies which occurred in the 4200 block of Wisconsin Avenue, NW and in the 3400 block Connecticut Avenue, NW.
On Monday, February 4, 2013, at approximately 9:13 am, a female entered the PNC Bank located in the 4200 block of Wisconsin Avenue, NW, approached the teller and presented a note demanding money. The teller complied with the suspect’s demand and gave the suspect an undetermined amount of U.S. currency. The suspect then fled the scene.
At approximately 9:29 am, a female walked into the Bank of America located in the 3400 block of Connecticut Avenue, NW, approached the teller and presented a note demanding money. The teller complied with the suspect’s demand and gave the suspect an undetermined amount of U.S. currency. The suspect then fled in an unknown direction.
The suspect in both robberies is described as a female of possibly Hispanic or Middle Eastern descent, late 20s to early 30s, 5’ 5” to 5’ 7” tall, medium build with curly black hair. The suspect was last seen wearing dark sun glasses, black leather gloves, a full-length black coat, dark pants, black scarf, light colored sneakers with turquoise, and carrying a black tote bag.

Anyone with information that can assist in the identification of this subject is asked to call the police at (202) 727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any robbery committed in the District of Columbia.
