      Persons of Interest Sought in Homicide in the 1200 Block of C Street, NE



      (Washington, DC) -  The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public's assistance in identifying persons of interest in relation to the homicide of Jason Anthony Emma, which occurred on Monday, December 24, 2012 at approximately 2:15 am in the 1200 block of C Street, NE. The individuals are depicted in this surveillance video from a nearby elementary school http://youtu.be/9hbism_wK1k


      On Monday, December 24, 2012, at approximately 2:15 am, units from the First District responded to the 1300 block of C Street, NE for the report of sounds of gunshots, and a male slumped over the steering wheel inside a vehicle.  Upon their arrival, First District officers located an adult male seated in a vehicle in the 1200 block of C Street, NE, suffering from gunshot wounds.  DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and determined that the victim had no signs consistent with life. He was later pronounced dead by a member of the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.


      The decedent is identified as 28-year-old Jason Anthony Emma of Northeast, Washington, DC.


      The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
